INSTRUCTOR GALLERY - Jim Steinberg
Jim is a nature, natural history and travel photographer who understands that capturing majestic moments in nature requires great patience. He has taught photography since 1975 for such organizations as National Geographic, The Center for Nature Photography and Friends of Arizona Highways, and his students consistently refer to him as an outstanding and inspiring instructor. He has been published in numerous magazines, including Nature Conservancy, National Geographic, Backpacker, National Parks, Audubon and Nature's Best, and his books include A Natural History of the Black Hills and Ghost Towns of the West. His publishing company specializes in the production and sale of nature calendars, note cards and fine art prints, and he also owns and operates a stock photo studio and gallery in his home of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
