Mark Kettenhofen has been with
Nikon Professional Services for more than 5 years, traveling the world for Nikon USA. During his time with Nikon he has covered NASA Shuttle Launches, US Presidential inauguration ceremonies, World Cup Soccer, and The Salt Lake Olympics, and has worked with photographers from
Newsweek,
US News & World Report,
Smithsonian magazine,
Sports Illustrated, and
National Geographic. Mark recently returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands as member of the American Photographers’ Mentor Series with Lindblad Expeditions. He is a staff instructor for Friends of Arizona Highways Workshops, and an editor with the Military Photojournalism Workshop. In 2003 he was part of a team who journeyed to Everest Base Camp for the 40th Anniversary of the first American Summit of Everest. Mark served as the expedition photographer and satellite transmission technician, and provided a daily live feed of images and interviews to major media
organizations throughout the country. Mark was also a US Navy photojournalist for 20 years documenting world events in more than 27 countries. He has won numerous awards including the National Press Photographer’s Military Photographer of the Year. He has been a part of Barnstorm for the last 8 years.
