SALVATION ARMY DINNER December 25, 2004 On Christmas Day 2004, a few of our volunteers went down to the Salvation Army dinner at the Civic Center to photograph elderly, homeless and low-income families. Many of these people had never had pictures of themselves taken before, and we were immediately swamped at the six photo stations, as well as at the 12 printer stations we were using to deliver the photographs. This year's event was all digital, and it was one of the most heart-warming experiences to have the children smiling and giggling when they had a chance to see themselves in the backs of the digital cameras. We delivered a few thousand photos in just a few hours and would like to share some of them with you here.
