NEWSLETTER
January 11, 2005
I know it's only been
a few days since you last heard from us, but there is some time
sensitive information we wanted you to be aware of. The next newsletter
will be sent in early February.
MONUMENT VALLEY & CANYON DE CHELLY
We've received a lot of interest in the Monument Valley/Canyon de
Chelly workshop, April 23-27. Some of you have steered clear of
it because it was called a "beginner" class. The class
WAS intended for beginners, but not a single one has signed up yet.
So if you are interested but you're an advanced photographer please
know that this workshop will suit you just fine, too. What's more,
there will be a FULL MOON on the first evening
that you will be able to frame with Monument Valley's famous "Mittens,"
weather permitting. Don't miss your chance to get one of Arizona's
most classic photographs!

GHOST TOWNS
Arizona Highways Photography Editor Richard Maack has posted a fascinating
article about Arizona's ghost towns in his Photography Talk column
on the magazine's website. Photos are from the Vulture Mine near
Wickenburg, where Richard will be leading a workshop in October.
