ITINERARY

May 11th - Rooms are reserved in Bisbee
at the Copper Queen Hotel. Rooms this night are not
included in the workshop price.
DAY ONE - May 12th
8am to 11:30am
- Breakfast and orientation, including a slideshow presentation
by the photographer, and notes about interview etiquette,
"seeing light", model releases & when needed.
Assignments of teams to specific topics.
1-3pm - Tour of Bisbee (Lavender Jeeps)
4-7pm - Group photo session in town
DAY TWO - May 13th
Sunrise -10am - Shoot assignments throughout
the town
Noon-3pm - Classroom review & critique images
4-7pm - Shoot assignments throughout the town
DAY THREE - May 14th

Please note that
transportation is not included in the price of this workshop.
Participants may fly into Phoenix or Tucson and rent cars
there. This leaves us all flexible to explore Bisbee
on our own as we are put "on assignment" by our
intrepid photographer!
Once
one of the most lucrative mineral sites in the world, Bisbee,
Arizona is now a Wild West town with gourmet tastes, full
of charming Victorian homes and a variety of Bohemian attitudes.
On this workshop we'll be put "on assignment" by
photojournalist Jeff Kida, who will send you and the other
students on missions to bring back photographs of the people
and places that make Bisbee unique. 
With
over 30 years experience in photojournalism, Jeff will instruct
students on how to tell a story with photographs and how to
capture the spirit of the location. 
Our
digital images will be critiqued, compiled and, even more
excitingly, at the end of the workshop we hope to have many
published in a local Bisbee newspaper.
