Interstates
may have passed it by, but Route 66 remains an American icon.
Immortalized in song and called by many “Mother Road,”
the stores, buildings and ruins along its path harken back
to a bygone age. We'll visit some of the most scenic spots
on the Arizona section of this road, beginning by "standing
on the corner in Winslow, Arizona." Stops follow in Two
Guns, Twin Arrows, Winona, Flagstaff and Williams, where we'll
photograph neon signs, old diners and other bits of Americana.
We'll eventually find ourselves at Seligman’s
Snow Cap Drive-In, where good food and good fun are served
in equal shares. Don’t miss out! Come get your “pix”
on Route 66.
