with Steve Burger
April 25 - 28, 2008
Cost: $1,425
Learning how to use image-editing programs to enhance digital photos or scans isn’t always easy. There can be a steep learning curve just to be able to handle basic workflow. This workshop will help take the mystery out of the process, giving you tools you can take home and immediately start using to achieve consistently good results. After importing your images into the computer, you’ll learn step-by-step how to maximize the impact of your photographs. Lessons will be taught in a classroom setting with both scheduled lectures and free lab time, and each student will receive the instruction book Steve uses in his Photoshop classes. You’ll also have the chance to visit some of the Grand Canyon South Rim’s most scenic spots for sunrises and sunsets so you can collect images from which to work.
This class is useful for both novice and advanced Photoshop users, though we ask that students have some basic computer experience to facilitate instruction during lab time.
