PHOTO WORKSHOP - Autumn at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon

with Peter Ensenberger
September 29 - October 3, 2010
Cost: $2,095
Register by: July 29, 2010

© Peter EnsenbergerEvery year, displays of spectacular fall color mark the change of seasons along the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. This September, our Autumn at the North Rim workshop takes you to photograph the colorful aspens, scrub oak and evergreens clinging to the canyon's precipitous walls, which frame its awesome depths in vibrant green, yellow and red.

© Participant Gene BurchYou’ll also be able to capture the sculptured temples, buttes and curving layers of sandstone poised 5,000 feet and more above the canyon bottom.

This workshop leads you to the best spots in Grand Canyon National Park and Kaibab National Forest to photograph golden aspens, yellow oaks and rich evergreens.

© Participant Mark OrlowskiSunsets offer a different challenge, as the golden hour light blankets the land with a warm glow, while the canyon's recesses are enveloped in brooding shadows, creating imposing silhouettes. Peter Ensenberger was Arizona Highways Director of Photography for nearly 25 years. Pete will guide you around this captivating setting to capture some of the most spectacular views Mother Nature has to offer!
