PHOTO WORKSHOP - Summer in the High Country Itinerary

This workshop has been canceled.

We will meet in the rear parking lot of the Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix Airport at 7:30 to load gear. We will leave promptly at 8 a.m. Due to this early departure time we recommend you arrive in Phoenix and reserve a room at this hotel for the evening prior to the workshop to ensure you are on time for departure.
We will stop for lunch in Show Low.
We may have an afternoon shoot prior to our check in at Molly Butler Lodge or we may check in and then go for an afternoon shoot. Time and light will tell.
Photographer’s slide presentation/photo discussion will follow dinner.

We will have an early morning departure for sunrise and morning light locations.
Lunch will be back at the lodge, with a critique following.
After the critique we will once again head back out for shooting the afternoon and evening light.

Another early morning for sunrise.
Today we’ll have box lunches in the field as we continue to find spectacular locations to photograph.
Once the light is gone we will return to the lodge for sustenance and an evening critique.

Expect yet another early morning for that “sweet” light we all love.
There is a possibility of another picnic lunch or we may return to the lodge or another of Greer’s eateries.
Afternoon and evening light shooting, followed by our farewell dinner.

We sleep in this morning and enjoy a breakfast at the Molly Butler Lodge.
After breakfast we will find another meadow or other beautiful area for our final morning shoot and then it is back on the road for Phoenix.
Lunch will be in Show Low again.
Expected arrival in Phoenix is sometime in the evening, so it is recommended you reserve a room at the Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix Airport and make travel arrangements for the following day.
